Does the Asia regional plan cover Japan and Korea?
Most regional Asia plans do, but the country list varies by package. Single-country plans for Japan and Korea are usually cheaper if you're only visiting those two.
Will my eSIM work for Grab and Gojek across Southeast Asia?
Yes. Both apps work in their respective countries on a normal data connection. Install them and set up payment before you fly because first-time-from-foreign-IP installs sometimes need extra verification.
Does the plan work in China?
Most regional Asia plans don't include mainland China because of the Great Firewall and the cost of routing through approved networks. Hong Kong and Macau are usually included. For mainland China, buy a dedicated China plan that pre-configures a working VPN routing.
Will it work in Bali, Phuket, and other tourist islands?
